The e197 Full Flap RSC carton erector is a fully adjustable machine designed to erect and glue close RSC cartons with overlapping major flaps. It operates in intermittent motion by erecting RSC blanks into a flighted chain at speeds of up to 10 cartons per minute.
Perfect for the beverage or chemical industry where bladder bags filled with liquids require optimum support. The stainless steel construction is also perfect for these industries.
It can be configured with a variety of options including an extended in feed, labeling or ink jet coding, or with downstream bag loading and closing equipment.
The main drive is powered by a VSD controlled motor operating in intermittent motion with pneumatics powering the magazine and flap folding. A Nordson pressurised hot melt adhesive system glue closes the bottom flaps before a compression foot secures the flaps closed against the glue to cure. Operating and maintenance staff will also like the great access to all parts of the machine via full height interlocked doors.
By using digital counter winders and our unique rapid pitch change system, size changes can be performed with ease knowing it will start again reliably in the new format.
