The rml e196 RSC Case Erector is designed to erect a wide range of RSC case sizes at up to 25 cases per minute when configured with tape closing. The flighted side drive design ensures that squarely erected cases are always produced.
The e196 erector is available in several size ranges in either glue or tape close configuration. When configured for glue close, the erector will operate in intermittent motion so that a glue compression foot can compress the bottom flaps.
The case magazine is at an ergonomic height so it is easy to load. Cartons are pushed up to the pick face using self sensing and dual left and right powered indexers.
Attention to safety is paramount with full height interlocked guarding, and sliding door guarding surrounding the different case blanks in the magazine.
Size adjustments can be performed rapidly and reliably by using digital counter winders and repeatable adjustments. In the case of the glue close configuration, there is one tool-less change part for the glue compression foot.
